Meet the Face Behind Bundle & Bri
Hi, I’m Bri. I am an enthusiastic and passionate caregiver with a deep love for working with babies. From a young age, I knew I wanted a career with children—whether as a nurse, NICU volunteer, teacher, or even a dance choreographer for young children.
In high school, I began studying a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care through TAFE, which inspired me to pursue my passion further. After graduating, I completed a four-year Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (Honours) at the University of South Australia. During my degree, I undertook four placements: 20 days in an infant room, 20 days in a Year 1/2 classroom, 30 days in an Early Learning Centre, and 40 days in a Foundation/Year 1 classroom. Alongside this, I worked full-time and balanced five different roles as a nanny, babysitter, and early childhood educator across three settings. During this time, I was awarded two merit awards and ranked in the top 15% of education students, which motivated me to continue striving toward my goals.
In my final year, I trained with Babyem in their Level 4 Newborn Care Specialist course to deepen my knowledge of infant care. Today, I am beginning my dream, working as a Newborn Care Specialist, while also teaching casually as an early childhood relief teacher.
People who know me recognise my love for infants, and I have been described as kind, thoughtful, passionate, professional, non-judgmental, reliable, punctual, well-presented, and intelligent. Outside of work, I enjoy quality time with friends and family and am always ready to listen and help.
Now, I would love to hear about you and your journey—every family has a unique story, and I feel honoured to be part of yours.

When I am there, you can relax knowing your child is in safe, experienced hands. Parents can get much-needed rest and enjoy more quality time with their little ones. Sleep deprivation is a common challenge for new parents, and when babies don’t sleep, neither do their parents— increasing the risk of postpartum depression and anxiety.
Also known as a maternity nurse, doula, or mothercraft nurse, as a Newborn Care Specialist, I provide non-medical guidance on newborn care and connect families with additional resources as needed.
Whether you are home with a new baby and feeling overwhelmed, have a fussy baby, are caring for twins or triplets, experiencing feeding challenges, or simply need extra support but unsure where to start, help is available. Services can also include travel with your family and newborn for work or leisure, with travel expenses covered by the family.
Services include:
Direct Newborn Care – Bottle feeding, nappy changes, settling, bathing, umbilical cord and circumcision care, and overall newborn comfort and wellbeing tracked by the ‘Nara Baby’ application.
Feeding Guidance – Support with breast/chestfeeding, pumping, and/or bottle feeding; preparing bottles; ensuring safe storage of breastmilk or formula; and providing tailored advice to meet your family’s needs.
Sleep Support – Helping babies build healthy sleep associations and gently learn to sleep independently for longer stretches through calm, responsive care.
Routine Establishment – Creating and maintaining flexible daytime and nighttime schedules to support predictability and comfort for both baby and parents.
Parent Education – Demonstrating swaddling, soothing, and general care techniques while empowering parents with knowledge and confidence.
Nursery Organisation & Household Support – Washing and sterilising bottles and pump parts, baby laundry, restocking nappies and wipes, maintaining a tidy nursery, and emptying nappy bins.
Appointments & Travel Support – Accompanying families to paediatrician or lactation consultant appointments, and available to travel for work or leisure (travel costs covered by family).
Emotional Support – Offering a calm, non-judgemental presence, providing reassurance, and recognising when referrals to other professionals may be beneficial (e.g. allergies, feeding issues, or developmental concerns).
This support is designed to give parents peace of mind, confidence, and practical help, so your early weeks with your newborn are safer, calmer, and more manageable.

Your Questions, Answered
What exactly does a Newborn Care Specialist do?
A Newborn Care Specialist provides support and guidance to families during the first weeks of a baby’s life, including sleep support, feeding assistance, establishing routines, and helping parents adjust to their new roles. Families are also sign-posted to additional support services, such as lactation consultants, sleep consultants, and other relevant specialists, to ensure holistic care and guidance for their bundle of joy.
Through comprehensive training, my services are informed by in-depth knowledge in newborn and family care, including sleep, colic, reflux, and allergies; general baby care; premature, low-weight, and sick babies; breastfeeding and other feeding methods; postnatal mother care; maternal depression; professional practice as a Newborn Care Specialist; culture and diversity; child temperament; and Flat Head Syndrome. This training ensures confident, compassionate, and evidence-based support for both newborns and their families.
How long do your services last?
Typically, services are offered for the first 8–16 weeks after birth, supporting families during the most important transition period for both baby and parents. Bookings can be short-term, covering the first few days or weeks of your baby’s life, or long-term, extending up to 16 weeks postpartum. Care can be tailored to each family’s needs, 24/7 live-in support, overnight live-in or live-out care up to seven days a week. Booked services also include text support, allowing questions to be communicated at any time for instant reassurance and guidance.
To ensure availability and provide the best support, bookings are recommended months in advance, especially to prepare for early births or to plan care leading up to the birth. It is recommended to begin the interview process during the first half of your second trimester if possible. However, even if you are in your third trimester—or your baby has already arrived—you may still be able to secure care. If requested, I can also be present during the birth to offer guidance and reassurance.
Are you qualified?
Support is provided by a trained Newborn Care Specialist (Babyem- ID: 11080221) and a qualified Early Childhood Teacher (Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Honours- ID: 630427), holding all relevant first aid certifications, screenings, and professional trainings. Parents can feel confident knowing their little one is cared for with up-to-date knowledge and expertise, with certifications available to view upon request.
Can you help with both breastfeeding and bottle feeding?
Guidance is provided for feeding routines, including both breastfeeding and bottle feeding, tailored to each family’s preferences and goals. Support includes advice on managing your own rest during night care, as well as guidance on breastfeeding techniques, expressing, and choosing appropriate feeding methods and bottles.
Can you help with multiple children in the household?
Yes, guidance can include managing routines and transitions for families with multiple children in a multiple birth (twins, triplets - not currently available for quadruplets), helping the household adjust smoothly. Care is focused primarily on the newborn/s and does not include direct care for older siblings.
Is support confidential and professional?
Absolutely. All services are provided with professionalism, respect, and confidentiality, prioritising the wellbeing of both the family and baby. Signing a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is also welcomed for added reassurance.
Are you insured?
Yes, insurance is in compliance with Finsura to ensure full professional coverage. In addition, a clear service contract is provided to protect and give confidence to both parties throughout the support period.
